TIK Expo 2023 “TechXcellence Shaping the Future of Technology”
The Informatics and Computer Engineering (TIK) Department held an TIK Exhibition 2023 activity in the Jakarta State Polytechnic Multipurpose Building (GSG) hall on Tuesday, July 11 2023. The TIK Exhibition or commonly abbreviated as TIK Expo is an event to show exhibitions and competencies in the field of information technology and computers for students in semester 6 of the Informatics Engineering Study Program, Digital Multimedia Engineering Study Program, and Multimedia and Network Engineering Study Program, as well as final year students of the Computer and Network Engineering Study Program.
This exhibition is the application of Project Based Learning (PBL) which adopts and adapts technological developments, especially information and computers which are being and will be used as references in the learning process. This exhibition also serves as a reference for evaluating the quality of learning that has been carried out in each study program in the ICT Department, and this activity is carried out to accommodate all study programs in the form of exhibitions of student work.
For 2023, the TIK Expo takes the theme "TechXcellence Shaping the Future of Technology" which is expected that students or when they become alumni of the ICT Department can take part in shaping the future of technology in Indonesia and can even contribute to the progress of world technology.
The event began with remarks from the head of the ICT department, Dr. Anita Hidayati, S.Kom., M.Kom, then continued with remarks by the head of the ICT Expo committee Mauddy Laya, S.Kom., M.Kom. as well as the opening by the leadership of the Jakarta State Polytechnic represented by the Deputy Director for Cooperation Dr. Dewi Yanti Liliana, S.Kom., M.Kom.
At the TIK Expo 2023 there are 10 categories with 32 booths exhibiting student works/products located on the 1st floor of the GSG PNJ, with category details namely ICT Business, Animation, Innovation Creation, Cyber Security, E-Government, Games, Interactive APPS, IoT , Network and Network Automation. Industry partners also visit booths and vote for interesting products.

From the 32 teams that presented their work, the 1st, 2nd, 3rd favorite winners were judged based on the results of votes from lecturers, industry partners and visitors. And the winner of 1st, 2nd, 3rd place for the best group is assessed specifically from industrial partners. Among the industrial partners present were the Depok City Health Office, PT. Nusa Tekno Global, Mythologic Studio, Shinta VR, XL Axiata, Starfindo, Chandra Asri Petrochemical and PT. Digital Synergy Synapses.
